Welcome to the Pernix Therapeutics Patient Assistance Program

At Pernix Therapeutics, we believe that a lack of prescription insurance coverage and cost should not prevent patients from getting the medication they need. To make sure patients have access to the medications prescribed by their healthcare providers, Pernix Therapeutics is proud to offer the Pernix Therapeutics Patient Assistance Program. The Pernix Therapeutics Patient Assistance Program delivers Pernix Therapeutics selected medications at no cost to eligible patients.

How it Works

The Pernix Therapeutics Patient Assistance Program provides qualifying patients with up to a year's worth of the Pernix Therapeutics medication prescribed by your healthcare provider. If you qualify, your medication will be delivered to you by U.S. mail every three months. If you need help paying for your medication beyond one year, you are welcome to re-apply to the Pernix Therapeutics Patient Assistance Program.


Basic Requirements

To receive covered Pernix Therapeutics medications at no cost, you must meet certain eligibility requirements. Qualifying patients must:

  1. Reside in the United States
  2. Have no prescription insurance benefits through any private or government insurance program (including Medicare/Medicaid)
  3. Meet total household* income requirements as outlined here:

    *Household size is defined to include everyone (including the applicant) who contributes to or is dependent on the household income.

You can either apply online or download and complete the application and return it to us by mail.

Once You Are Enrolled

If you qualify, you will automatically be mailed your first 90-day supply. You will then be eligible to receive free covered medicine(s) for up to one year by calling to refill your prescription every 3 months. You must re-enroll each year to remain in the program.
